David Ding, Chairman of Huaren Technology Meets
with Michigan Governor Rick Snyder

    November 5th, Shanghai, David Ding, chairman of Huaren Technology has met Rick Snyder, governor of Michigan. They have conducted an in-depth discussion and then exchanged their opinions regarding the research and industrialization of smart vehicles and related technologies. David Ding said that USA and China have the largest automobile market in the world. Michigan is the very place where the US started its own auto industry a century ago. Both Detroit and Shanghai are famous automotive centers with solid industrial base and strong research capability. Huaren Technology is an international tech company that is based in China and has a global perspective. It aims to revolutionize the mobility industry with its innovative technologies. HT has established the design and operation center as well as the R&D center in Shanghai. The company is now building innovation centers in US, Europe and other places around the world. 
Rick Snyder said that Michigan is using its advantage in traditional automobile industry and the world’s most comprehensive auto supply chain to develop the innovation industry such as smart vehicle, autonomous driving and internet of vehicles. Therefore, Waymo, Google and other world top-class innovative companies are establishing their R&D centers in Michigan in recent years. As a result, Detroit has built the world’s most advanced autonomous driving town – the Mcity. Snyder is keen to attract more leading Chinese companies to Michigan through industrial support policies and talent advantages. 
Snyder invited Ding Lei and his team to visit the US to have a look at the development status of smart vehicles and smart cities for example in Detroit. And he kindly offered the support to facilitate the development of Huaren Technology in the US as well as the globalization around the world. In the evening, Snyder personally invited Ding Lei to attend the Michigan-China Friendship Banquet. Mark Stanton, CTO of Huaren Technology and Song Jing, VP of Huaren Technology also joined the dinner.
