In 2021, Human Horizons Software R&D Base was set up in the Bailuwan new economic headquarters in Jinjiang District, Chengdu. The base will focus on the research and development of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and smart connectivity based on HiPhi Software Company (Chengdu).

The establishment of the software R&D base in Chengdu, the "highland of innovative talents in Southwest China", will give greater play to the technical advantages and platform resources of Human Horizons HiPhi and build core capabilities of intelligence. Human Horizons will carry out the development and testing of technologies such as artificial intelligence, smart connectivity, intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, electronic and electrical architecture, and cloud computing software, which are of great strategic significance for the implementation of innovative applications.

Human Horizons HiPhi will further enhance its scientific and technological strength, and promote the construction of intelligent vehicle software R&D and the "3-Smart" Strategy related pioneer area with the goal of "vehicle defined by software". The company will build a regional center based in Chengdu to gather high-end talents, have an impact on the Southwest region, and realize coordinated innovation in its national layout and global linkage.
