On September 23, the 9th General Meeting of Shanghai Fudan University Alumni Association was held in Xianghui Hall, and Ding Lei, CEO of HiPhi, a vehicle brand under Human Horizons, was re-elected as executive vice president.

At the general meeting, Ding Lei, as the eighth executive vice president, made the Explanation Report on the Draft Amendment of the Charter. In order to strengthen the guidance of the party, optimize organizational management and adjust the content of the charter, the resolution was effectively passed by a show of hands by the whole audience.

At the first meeting of the ninth council held later, Ding Lei, a 1985 undergraduate student of the Second Department of Physics and a 1988 master's degree of the Department of Physics, was re-elected as executive vice president by secret ballot.

The Shanghai Fudan University Alumni Association has a history of 40 years. Academician Xie Xide, mentor of Ding Lei, and many famous scientists have led the alumni association to make important contributions to Fudan, education and social welfare.

As of 2022, Fudan University has a total of 96 alumni associations and alumni organizations throughout the country and around the world, covering hundreds of thousands of alumni who are active in various fields, serving the local community and contributing to society. In October 2022, the fourth council of Fudan University Alumni Association was held, and alumnus Ding Lei was elected as the vice president of Fudan University Alumni Association again.
