On 15th, November 2023, HiPhi signed a strategic cooperation agreement with ShanghaiTech University, Shanghai Alliance Investment Ltd and WESAIL New Energy Automotive in Shanghai. Based on the mutual understanding of resources-sharing and complementary strength, the three sides will collaborate and integrate cross-disciplinary science and cutting-edge technology, forming a closed and efficient circle of industry-university-R&D collaboration, and fuel the rapid implementation of some cutting-edge technologies. This agreement aims to build potential force for the high-quality development of Chinese new energy industry, and contribute to the progress of the society through advanced technologies.

Mr Eric Ho King Fung, chairman and general manager of WESAIL New Energy Automotive, said in his speech that as a joint venture between Shanghai Alliance Investment Ltd and Apollo Future, WESAIL has undertaken the responsibility of making Apollo a supercar brand with electrification and intelligence. Apollo is the top supercar in Europe, and HiPhi is the top luxury EV brand in China. The two sides are highly consistent in terms of car building philosophy, brand positioning and future landscape. HiPhi A, a co-branded flagship model, grandly launched today, is a high fusion between Chinese and Western supercar concepts, an integration of futuristic aesthetics and mechanical appearance. On the same day, the top supercar HiPhi A jointly built by HiPhi and WESAIL New Energy Automotive officially made its world debut at the press conference, a car with high intelligence and high-performance electric power system, which is fully developed in-house.
