With production now well underway, the world’s first evolvable SUV, HiPhi X, was on display at the 2021 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area International Auto Show from July 17-25 held in Shenzhen, China. Designed and manufactured by industry-leading new mobility and intelligent driving research company, Human Horizons, the HiPhi X is priced between RMB 570,000 - 800,000 and combines the comforts of a luxury car with leading hi-tech functionality to create a new segment of cars, TECHLUXE®.

The 25th annual Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area International Auto Show is an opportunity for domestic and international carmakers to display their newest offerings. The event is attended by all the major car brands with special attention paid to new release models. Taking center stage this year, new energy and smart vehicle brands were keen to show off their latest technical innovations, demonstrating the industry’s transition towards intelligent electric cars.

Human Horizons’ display at the Auto Show coincides with the operational opening of the HiPhi Delivery Center (Guangzhou). Customers based in Guangzhou and Shenzhen will be able to come into the center and experience the cars in-person or arrange for door-to-door delivery. Since nationwide rollout began on May 8, Human Horizons’ vehicle distribution network have been established in 74 cities with many more to come by the end of 2021. 

The HiPhi X currently comes in four different models: the Performance six-seater model, the Luxury six-seater, the Flagship six-seater, and the Flagship four-seater. Priced from RMB 570,000, all models are equipped with four-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering, air suspension, and six electronically controlled NT wing doors. Additionally, all vehicles come equipped with a super-efficient 97kWh large battery and dual 220kW motors（tested at 1/3C discharge rate), pushing the vehicle from 0-100kmh in 3.9 seconds and supporting an NEDC range of 550km.

All new HiPhi owners will be granted special privileges that entitle them to 5 years / 150,000km vehicle warranty, 8 years / 240,000km critical components (including battery pack, motors and VCU), free lifetime roadside rescue, free lifetime 5G connectivity (10GB cellular data per month), as well as a 14-day change-of-mind purchase guarantee. Additionally, owners who pay for their vehicles in full before December 31, 2021 will receive an upgraded lifetime vehicle and electrical component warranty. 

Supporting and assisting HiPhi X owners is a priority for Human Horizons with considerable resources being put into ensuring quality after-sales service and experience. To ensure owners are never without power, Human Horizons have partnered with State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, and TELD to provide 150,000 public charging stations across more than 300 cities and major highway networks. Also, HiPhi X owners will receive a smart interactive Human Horizons charging station that can be installed at home.
