HiPhi Partners with Covestro to Lead Smart and Low-Carbon Mobility, as HiPhi Z Makes Its Stunning Debut at CIIE

An intelligent onboard robot that can hear voices and identify their positions, sequential star ring lights that can show "greetings", and cool carbon fiber interiors that can be recycled ....These scenes, like those in science fiction movies depicting 2042, are appearing in the 5th CIIE. HiPhi Z, HiPhi’s latest flagship, made its debut at the CIIE. This intelligent coupé with future aesthetics and digital life interactions attracted a lot of attention from visitors and media.

The 5th China International Import Expo was held at the Shanghai National Convention & Exhibition Center from November 5-10. Human Horizons, an innovative mobility technology company, joined the CIIE with Covestro, a Fortune 500 company and the world's leading polymer materials manufacturer, bringing HiPhi Z, a TECHLUXE® intelligent coupé. On November 6, HiPhi and Covestro signed the "Together for a Smart and Low-Carbon Mobility Future" agreement to further expand their cooperation and explore a sustainable smart mobility future together.

HiPhi Z is a groundbreaking smart car product that combines the three characteristics of "future aesthetics, digital life, and the handling of the age of electronics". In its booth, the ISD intelligent interactive lights on the side doors interact with the audience through sequential light effects; onboard, digital life is fused with mechanics. HiPhi Bot, the unique intelligent in-car robot can make intelligent angle adjustments: front, back, left, right, tilt, and height adjustments in different scenarios. The multi-axis displacement system behind it supports 4 DoF and 8 directions of adjustment, enabling HiPhi Bot to have humanlike and intelligent interactions. These intelligent functions caught the audience’s attention, as they stopped at the booth and were excited by the experience.

The marbled recyclable carbon fiber composite material for vehicle interiors, developed jointly by HiPhi and Covestro, was on display on HiPhi Z show car at the booth. Not only does the material have a unique and innovative high-tech style, but it can also be recycled and reused. In addition, this recyclable carbon fiber material can reduce its weight by more than 30% compared to aluminum, making it lighter and stronger.

For HiPhi X, HiPhi’s first flagship model and a supercar SUV, HiPhi and Covestro have developed a complete set of materials for intelligent interactive surfaces.
