On 8-9 June 2023, the 2023 China Auto Chongqing Summit was held with the theme of “Shaping the Future of an Industry in Transition”. The summit brought together many industry leaders and experts to discuss the revolution, opportunities and challenges of the global automotive industry under the new development pattern. In his speech, David Ding, Chairman of HiPhi, said that automobiles have once again become a promising industry, and the future trend of China's new energy vehicles will be towards premiumization and globalization.

David stated that, "The conversion of kinetic energy has made the automotive industry emerging once again. Not only are product design, development, manufacturing, user requirements and tastes different from the traditional standards, but the supply chain has also been reconfigured and the industrial ecological cooperation is changing. In the subsequent roundtable talk, David Ding shared his unique understanding of the definition of high-end new energy vehicles: "High-end is not just about high price, it is to integrate high-end technologies, talents, suppliers and resources, and to scale up the integration of high-end technologies to high efficiency. New energy vehicles do not need to rely on hardware costs to bridge the experience gap and prove their identity like ICE, because the users value the experience formed by the software-defined car, so the most advanced technology can also be implemented in mid- to high-end vehicles. The third model, HiPhi Y, will be launched soon and will be the successor to the flagship X and Z, bringing the high-end technology and experience to more customers".

Meanwhile, the 25th Chongqing International Auto Exhibition kicked off on the same day. HiPhi Auto presented the luxury electric supercar SUV, HiPhi X, the luxury electric supercar, HiPhi Z and the technological and luxurious, HiPhi Y, at booth 2T04 in Hall N2, to deeply interpret the "high degree of integration" and provide users with a new technological and luxurious experience.

With its technological and luxurious twin flagships HiPhi X and HiPhi Z, HiPhi has topped the sales of luxury EVs above 500,000 RMB for months and became the annual sales champion last year (data source: Compulsory Liability Insurance for Motor Vehicle Traffic), surpassing the sales of global established firms such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi in the same class of EVs in China. The HiPhi Y made its global debut at the Shanghai Auto Show. The model is equipped with the second generation of the unique NT intelligent wing doors, enabling a range of over 800km under CLTC. It will be delivered in the third quarter of this year.

In addition, overseas media and customers are also looking forward to China's technological and luxurious flagships coming to Europe. It is reported that both the HiPhi X and HiPhi Z have already received EU certification from TÜV, a global third-party testing agency, for licensing and sales abroad. The first batch of HiPhi X has already been licensed in Germany and customers can book a test drive.
