HiPhi Named as Prestigious Interbrand "Breakthrough Brand 2023"

Interbrand, the world's leading brand consultancy, has launched its 2023 Breakthrough Brands Report, revealing the 30 most innovative brands. The top 12 are the most iconic names, including "overnight success" OpenAI, luxury "sleep pod" purveyor Eight Sleep, digital commerce disruptor Obsess, Asia's largest metaverse platform Zepeto, and premium electric vehicle, HiPhi. As the only Chinese brand in the report, HiPhi is also the only brand in the automotive industry to make the cut.

As a global brand consultancy, Interbrand has released the Breakthrough Brands Report since 2017, aiming to reveal the emerging brands that are breaking through a crowded landscape and shaping the industry into a brand-new arena. This year's report has uncovered the brands outlining the core human needs and delivering the shifts. According to the announced global strategy, HiPhi will start from Europe and the Middle East in 2023, with the first presence in Munich, Germany and Oslo, Norway. Its products and services will be gradually introduced to overseas markets. The first vehicles are expected to be delivered to European customers in the third quarter of this year. The HiPhi Y, the latest global model, will be unveiled on 15 July and will soon be available in Europe, where it is expected to be ordered by the end of 2023.

Recently, the HiPhi X and HiPhi Z met with considerable media acclaim in the "home of the automotive industry" for their product strength.


Autocar, the UK's oldest automotive media suggested that "While it’s that bit less conspicuous-looking than the Z, that could play to the favour of the X, which is certainly smart, spacious, comfortable and still clearly quite different". While for Z, Autocar commented "Adaptive air suspension and four-wheel steering make it wieldy when manoeuvring, and controlled in its handling at speed, and commendably refined, it has the polished plushness of feel that you might expect to have eluded a brand with such little experience."

Automotive magazines, WALTER and STERN praised the HiPhi Z, "The chassis with electronic dampers and air suspension performs satisfactorily.
