On September 22nd, the Saudi Arabian Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, His Excellency Bandar Alkhorayef, and Deputy Minister His Excellency Khalid Al-Mudaifer, visited the Shanghai Operations Center of HiPhi and held a meeting with David Ding, Chairman and CEO of HiPhi. The meeting was attended by other senior members of the HiPhi management team including Executive Director of the Board Amy Zhang, CTO Mark Stanton, Co-CTO Chen Jun, and CFO Simon Tang.

During their visit, the Saudi guests toured HiPhi's Shanghai Engineering and Design Centers, where they gained insights into HiPhi's latest developments in high-performance intelligent cockpits and autonomous driving. They learned about the next-generation automotive electrical architecture, in-car chips, and software development. They also had engaging discussions with the HiPhi designers and engineers from around the world.

The guests were also given the opportunity to test drive the HiPhi Y and HiPhi Z vehicles around the corporate campus. They praised the outstanding driving experience and intelligent features of the vehicles. Minister HE Bandar Alkhorayef said, "A first-class team and great products have made HiPhi an excellent company."

During the discussion, David Ding shared the latest updates on the company's global strategy. He mentioned that starting with the planned expansion into Europe and the Middle East, HiPhi aims to provide environmentally friendly, safe, and efficient smart electric vehicles and future mobility experiences to users worldwide.

Minister HE Bandar Alkhorayef expressed his recognition of the company's technological innovation capabilities and efficient global teamwork. He congratulated HiPhi on its excellent design and engineering research and development achievements and said, "Human Horizons is not just about car manufacturing. The company also has a strong supply chain and integrated ecosystem influence, including solutions for "two smarts" of smart transportation and smart city that can create synergies benefiting the industrial chain upgrade, urban construction and development that Saudi Arabia is actively promoting."

During the meeting, both sides discussed the trends and achievements of new energy vehicles in promoting a global low-carbon green environment. They expressed intention to further deepen cooperation in the future of the automotive, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence sectors.
